Every year, our chapter presents 2 awards: (1) Pal of the Year and (2) One
of our Own at our annual Awards Luncheon/Dinner. This year we will be
presenting these awards at our annual Spring Conference on February 27,
2010.
*The NAPNAP-LA Chapter "Pal of the Year" Award*
This award is given to an individual who is not a PNP but supports and
enhances the role of the PNP in the community. This special individual can
be a nurse, physician, legislator, administrator, industry representative,
parent, etc. Please remember that the nominee and endorser will need to be present at the
annual Spring Conference on February 27, 2010. If you would like to nominate someone,

The NAPNAP-LA Chapter "One of Our Own" Award*
This award is given to recognize a chapter member for outstanding
contributions to the PNP role. Such contribution is through professional
activity in the workplace, advocacy in the community, unique projects
reflective of the PNP role, mentoring members, preceptoring students,
contributions to current literature, legislative activity, chapter offices,
and/or other award worthy activities. Please remember that the nominee
and endorser will need to be present at the annual Spring Conference on
