Welcome and thank you for visiting the website of the Los Angeles Chapter of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners (NAPNAP-LA). NAPNAP-LA and its members are dedicated to promoting optimal health for children in the greater Los Angeles area.
As one of the largest NAPNAP chapters in the nation, NAPNAP-LA is a vibrant community of advanced practice nurses that provide a myriad of professional opportunities and clinical experiences for its members. On our website you will find up-to-date information about pediatric clinical practice issues, continuing education, professional networking, legislative issues, opportunities for mentoring and advocacy, and so much more. NAPNAP-LA activities include the awarding of a scholarship to a PNP student who has demonstrated a commitment to excellence in pediatric health care, as well as the recognition of an outstanding NAPNAP-LA member and a non-member who supports the advanced practice nursing role. Throughout the year, NAPNAP-LA hosts educational events, such as educational dinners and an annual conference co-sponsored by the Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles. Additionally, there are many opportunities for NAPNAP-LA members to partner with local communities to impact pediatric health outcomes and improve the well-being of children and families.
